Wynne Paris is a co founder of the Lovelight Festival and a dedicated Kirtan Artist. He was introduced to the path of Bhakti by his Grandmother, who was a Yogananda devotee. At age 30, After spending a decade playing as a pro musician around Washington DC, Wynne was invited to perform kirtan with Mata Amritananadamayi - Amma, the hugging saint. In 1997, at age 33, Wynne moved to California and began collaborating with Krishna Das and helping him during the making of the genre defining cd 'Pilgrim Heart'. Wynne played Sarod, Saz and guitar on the recording. In the two decades since, He has recorded and performed with many Lovelight artists including: GuruGanesha Singh, Dave Stringer, David Newman, Debra Devi, Telsma, Gurunam Singh and more.
Wynne is still active in the mainstream music industry too. He's currently part of the Grateful Dead inspired mantra rock band SUNSHINE DEVA, which also features Mark Karan (Ratdog, Bob Weir, Phil and friends, Planet Drum).
Spiritually, Wynne has great reverence & love for Paramahansa Yogananda, Neem Karoli Baba, HH the Dalai Lama, Amma, Santo Daime, beaches and bonobos.
