Goddess Grove Schedule

The Goddess Grove provides programming grounded in acknowledging and honoring the Divine Feminine in all Her forms, in a safe, supportive space where participants feel nurtured. There is a main Goddess Temple for workshops, and for sitting in darshan in the presence of the Divine Feminine. We ask that all who participate in Goddess Grove activities revere the space as sacred, and keep what is shared confidential, honoring the vulnerability of others as they would their own. All genders and sexual orientations are welcome, except where expressly noted in workshop descriptions.

Please come and greet the Goddess - pray, meditate, and feel free to make offerings to Her.

Friday, August 18

Shakti Satsang - Lisa Adams and Melanie Ross Fairchild

Come revel in the Glory of the Divine Feminine. We will create sacred space, sing, engage thoughtful discussion about the Goddess, and align with the Divine Feminine that dwells within us all. All genders and gender histories are welcome.

Rhythmic Dance - Narayani Whittington

Developed by Kristin Cooper Gulak and guided by Narayani, Rhythmic Dance is a movement inquiry experience for all people, honoring the rhythms of the 5 great elements of nature or “Pancha MahaBhutas”- Earth, Water, Fire, Air, and Space. Based on the teaching of Ayurveda - the sister science of Yoga- we learn that each one of us is made up of our own unique mixture of the 5 Bhutas, which determines our body constitution or “Dosha.” Through an exploration of the rhythms associated with the Bhutas, we can determine which of these elements are most present within us at this time in our lives. The first 4 elements are guided with movement suggestions that will invoke the qualities of the elements and mimic their rhythm. The last element, Space, is self-guided to allow us to move in any way we feel inspired. Our journey through music and movement is an opportunity to use our body as a tool to create joy through freedom of expression, especially for the beings who would love to be able to move freely. Like the African proverb says - “If you can talk, you can sing. If you can walk, you can dance.”

No experience is necessary - let’s celebrate for all beings and the planet!

We will also learn to dance with her as we do a Kali Natha Yoga asana.

Sacred Tantric Sound Healing with Maryamma ParaTan

A true tantric practice to awaken your Inner Divinity. In this workshop you will experience the sacred healing power of sound that has been used in multiple cultures for centuries. Sacred sound healing technique facilitates shifts in our brain wave state by synchronizing fluctuating brainwaves to a stable frequency which the brainwave can attune to. By using rhythm and frequency, we can influence our brain waves and learn to downshift our normal consciousness to a state of deep relaxation, and even meditative trance, a space where emotional and physical healing can occur.

One of its main active ingredients facilitates the release of dopamine, the ‘pleasure’ hormone. Cacao supports memory, immunity, heart health and helps relieve stress and depression. It contains the highest concentration of antioxidants of any food on the planet. Each ceremony is held in Oneness Consciousness and is offered with Gratitude for the Medicine. We tune in before each event and listen to what wants to come forth. It may include meditation, chanting, guided soul journey, movement, sharing circle and more. Cacao is the facilitator and will invite you rather than push you on a spiritual journey. This event is popular and is sure to sell out; therefore, pre-registration is strongly recommended.

We are all affecting one another every moment, whether we mean to or not, because everything in the universe is so deeply interconnected. Journey through the ongoing and changing cycles of the Sun, Moon, Earth and other planets in our solar system. As we actively observe and participate, we become more attuned to these cycles and their effects on our bodies, minds, and spirits. Navigate and embody the Solar Eclipse energy through discussion of astrology and brief practice.

We come down after this powerful dancing and healing release, fully recharged and awakened together in our cosmic identities, and we come into meditation. We end in stillness. In OM. We bow to each other. Rainbow fruit served after in celebration.
