Baltimore’s Fractal Cat combines genres of music across the rock spectrum—pop, soul, folk, electronic—with socially conscious lyrics and imagery to create a psychedelic experience that heightens the senses and elevates the spirit. Inspired by artists such as Buddy Holly, Smokey Robinson, and Syd Barrett, the band seeks to entertain while promoting change, positivity, and humanity. In January 2017, the band released The Tower, its third album of all-original material. Using dreamlike imagery to speak to urgent social and political matters, this multimedia experience synthesizes the timely and the timeless into a passionate and surreal vision for today's world.
